The short version
This site uses very few cookies, and none of them are for advertising or analytics. Most visitors won’t receive a single cookie from xperera.com unless they subscribe or click a link in one of my emails.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser so it can remember something about your visit — for example, that you’re already subscribed.
Cookies this site uses
- newsletter — set when you subscribe, confirm your subscription or manage it. It remembers that you’re a subscriber. Lasts 1 year.
- tnpe — set when you click a link inside one of my emails, so the newsletter software knows which email you came from. Lasts 1 year.
- wordpress_… and wordpress_logged_in_… — only for the site administrator when logged in to manage the site. Regular visitors never receive these.
Other websites’ cookies
Some features involve other services, which have their own cookie policies:
- Share buttons (X, LinkedIn, Facebook) are plain links. Nothing is loaded from those networks until you click one and leave this site.
- Booking a call opens Google’s appointment page, where Google’s cookies apply.
- The advertising space is a simple image link. No advertising network runs on this site.
What this site doesn’t use
No Google Analytics or other analytics, no advertising or retargeting cookies, and no Facebook, LinkedIn or X tracking pixels. That’s why you don’t see a cookie banner here. If that ever changes, I’ll update this page and ask for your consent first.
How to control cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings at any time. Blocking cookies won’t break this site. Note that deleting the newsletter cookie doesn’t unsubscribe you — use the unsubscribe link in any email for that.
